Universal AutoDual Model AD-115/230

The Universal AutoDual AD115/230 is our flagship controller and is currently installed on compressors from 1-1/2 hp to 250 hp. It provides high efficiency control for any reciprocating or rotary screw air compressor. It eliminates common problems associated with compressors unloading for long periods of time or start/stopping too much, resulting in high efficiency operation.

The AD offers the following high efficiency features:

• 1. Automatic dual control/timed-out-stop. Selectable from 4 to 20 minutes idle time.
• 2. 5-second automatic initial unloading, insuring very soft, stress-free starts
• 3. Hour meter
• 4. Emergency shutdown -- LOL, LOP, HAT
• 5. Remote signal for emergency shutdown
• 6. True lead/lag control -- manual or automatic (chronological)
• 7. Panel mounted tank drain controls -- no wasted air
• 8. High efficiency operation conforms to utility rebate requirements.

Universal AutoDual Starter Combination Model ADS

The Universal AutoDual Starter Combination ADS expands on the high efficiency control and features of our Standard AD115/230, and adds a Motor Starter. The addition of the starter makes the Universal Autodual a full function, turnkey system with all the outstanding control and operating features of the AD Controller. 2 wiring connections and 2 plumbing connections complete the installation. I.E.C. starter/overload, up to 60 hp, 460v, CUL Listed.

Universal AutoDual Model ADSE

The Universal AutoDual ADSE offers manual duplexing and autodual control for any 2 compressors. With the automatic Lead/Lag feature (optional), the AutoDual ADSE swaps your compressors at a predetermined time, anywhere from a 10 minutes to 7 days cycle. The lag compressor ALWAYS remains in standby mode to provide additional air if required by your plant air system.

High efficiency system operation is achieved by the automatic dual control, timed-out-to-stop function for each machine and the operation of only the compressors required to do the work.

Universal Autodual Model ADSE-3

Two recent installations were built to control two separate 3-way compressor systems:

• A. System one converts three constant run (modulating) 100hp rotaries to autodual high efficiency operation and then to lead/lag three machines for high efficiency system performance.


• B. System two brings automatic dual control to three 25 hp recips for high efficiency system operation. The 3-way lead/lag controller shuts down compressors that are not productive, using only the compressor(s) needed for production.

Three Control Circuit Boards bring the following features:

• 1. Totally unloaded soft starts.
• 2. Automatic dual control -- field adjustable from 4 to 20 minutes.
• 3. Pressure transducers bring absolute reliability and close control to +/-1/2 psi.
• 4. Lead/Lag control the three compressors in any configuration.

Universal AutoSync

The Universal AutoSync is a unique sequencing product only available from Standard Pneumatic Products. Unlike other sequencers which simply have the compressors "take turns", the AutoSync automatically swaps dual compressor lead and lag mode to any cycle time you choose. Standard swap cycle is anywhere from 10 minutes to 7 days, with full manual override for compressor maintenance on either compressor.

Universal Autodual Model ASPSS

Universal Autodual with MicroProcessor Mark III Board with pressure transducer to control two comprssors in automatic lead/lag mode, with totally unloaded soft starts. Converts any reciprocating or constant run rotary two compresor system to high efficiency operation. Includes two starters, emergency shutdown, and auto drain.
